The car in general is so small, the glass area so good, and the transparent section of the hatch all combine to make the camera have a very minor impact. A Spark is a speck of a car. You can see out so well, the seating position is upright, and the dimensions of the car are so small, that the camera adds very little.

You don't care about long-term reliability when renting a car, so you always take the best car available, not the most reliable one.

Front end looks good up close, as too does the interior. Not a fan of full LCD dashboards in any car honestly, nor big infotainment screens. Physical needles only, or LED displays in some cases. That's why I'm fond of my 2014. Needles for rpm and speed, little led matrix display for trip, fuel and temp. Nice n simple, not cluttered.
The engine may struggle a little more, but the Fiesta feels decidedly grown up at highway speeds. The Fiesta will definitely be fine for highway driving but the Civic is an upgrade. It's even better than the Fiesta's bigger brother Focus on the highway IMO. Much less noise and vibration intrusion into the cabin.
