Along with the meds, a low residue diet for a couple of weeks and elevating the head of your bed will give your gullet a chance to heal. This requires physical effort on your part to fix it.
Anybody finally get rid of their globus sensation? I have three friends with lpr who I've spoken to and their globus went away at various times. The longest was 17 months and the shortest was around 11 months. For all three it just went away and none have had it return. The last one had it back in 2010.
