In the old game in the bottom right corner you had your profile name. You could make a new profile and then make a new character. That way the new characters saves would only appear on the second profile, but not in the first. It made managing saves for multiple characters much easier. The typical practice was to create a new "Profile" for each
The original publishers of the original game was Electronic Arts. The new publishers of the new remastered game is THQNordic. EA is still selling the original game on their own Origin platform. and of course THQNordic wants to hype the new remaster they are putting out. Originally posted by Tenryuu:
Probably a dead comparison by now. But I couldn't resist the temptation to bring it up one last time. Both are open-world free form action-RPGs with lots of walking and running in between, and with an MMO-like progression of gears and skills. Plus also, in Re-Reckoning if you uncheck the "Enemy Focus" option in Camera menu which makes it so that the camera stay behind your back all the time
They're exactly the same except the remaster is better with more camera options and stuff. #8. Blade12775 Jul 3, 2022 @ 7:33pm. Here's Kingdoms of Amalur Reckoning UK version for $8.44 US. Side note: I love the penny less than $8.45. Only $19.99!! Under $20.00! You get your and can eat it too! YEA!!
At the price of $40USD, Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning is really a no-brainer for open-world action RPG fans. No way should should owners of Reckoning think they are going to get a free Re-Reckoning. That's not an industry standard at all. However, THQ Nordic is known for it's generous attitude towards loyal fans. Doesn't matter. Can't imagine anyone who plays or played KOA would balk at paying for a remaster. Just a great game.
