9. Dead Living Zombies - 5 I really hated this one. The driving mission was ok, but the rest are incredibly tedious, especially the roof top defence mission. Zombies are the worst enemies, the stories aren’t interesting, Guy Marvel’s voice actor does a great job but I just don’t care about the character. 10. Overrun - 4
The only problem with Far Cry 5’s ending is that it very thoroughly concludes the story and yet after the credits roll you’re right back in action for the endgame as if nothing happened. That’s just weird. Games that don't let you return to the open world after the ending face a huge amount of backlash.
Far Cry 5 is a much slicker experience than Far Cry 3 in regards to gameplay, graphics etc. it’s a better gaming experience for sure. But I wasn’t impressed with 5s narrative or characters at all (quite disappointed actually) and that is where 3 is superior for me. Also, 3 is a commentary on many gaming / action hero tropes.
I just finished Far Cry 4, yes I know, late to the party, but I thought 'Hey, I enjoyed 6 a lot, I did enjoy 5, mostly because of how many things you could do in the game, not necessarily the story itself, I did enjoy 1 a long time ago, but I never played 2, 3 and 4', so I did play it, I just finished the main story and the Shangri-la.
Far Cry 2: Unnamed in Africa during a civil war. Far Cry 3: Jason trapped on rook island with pirates. Far Cry 4: Ajay in Kyrat (Himalayan mountains) during a civil war. Far Cry 5: Rookie cop sent to Hope County to defuse cult situation. None of it's connected, but they still exist in the same universe to some extent.

As far as 5 goes the world was a bit boring to me but The Seed family were great villians. As far as 6 goes probably my least favourite out of those 3 games.
